Also nominated are Sherman Alexie for War Dances; Barbara Kingsolver for The Lacuna; Lorrie Moore for A Gate at the Stairs; and Colson Whitehead for Sag Harbor. When I spoke to Lorraine about her nomination, she was still in a daze... started to veer into that, "I can't believe my luck" talk.
